Awards

5 trophies will be given for each race category, except the olympic Distance Triathlon (individual). The Queen's cup will be presented to the winner of the Male Elite and Female Elite Categories.
Each finisher will receive a medal and all particpants will receive a t-shirt.
Prize moneys range from Bt 5,000 to Bt 2,0000

Schedule:

Saturday 29th August 2009:
16:00 - 17:00 Parade of Queen's cup along with a group of cyclists.
18:00 - 18:30 Mandatory Race Briefing at Imperial Hotel (Thai)
18:30 - 19:00 Mandatory Race Briefing at Imperial Hotel (English)
19:00 - 20:00 Pasta Party

Sunday 30th August 2009
06:30 Grand Opening
08:00 Race Start - First Wave
08:15 Race Start - Second Wave
14:00 Awards, prizes and Queens Cup Presentation

May i express my opinion krub?
I have been training and racing triathlon since 1997.

First i think the starting time is quite late and it will make many athletes go into dehydration very easy.

Secondly as you try to promote triathlon in Thailand you also have to know that Thai triathlete is very few and in a very small group but the application fee ,in my opinion It is too expensive for Thai people. We all have to face many expense such as the accommodation , meal , car fuel . Is there have any chance for race organizer to cut down the fee??

If you do so many many athlete will join this race.
