Sorry for typing in Eng na krub. I don't have Thai font on this computer krub.
I just got my new bike (mountain bike) and have question about it krub.
I plan to ride between school and home. The distance is around 10 miles per day krub. There are several uphills and downhills. It is quite tiredsome, I can say.
The question is about adjusting my bike seat krub. I have a feeling that if I raise a seat up a little, and stretch my legs a little, it would consume less energy during biking uphills krub. I am not sure if I am paranoid about this - -". Is it true that the higher the bike seat, the lesser it energy it will take? I feel that it is hard to to stand on my bike (especially during traffic lights), but it make me easier to paddling uphills krub. What is the best condition for the height of the bike seat krub?
Thanks in advance for all suggestion na krub. You guys can also type Thai. I can read Thai, but I just can't type Thai on this machine krub. +_+"
Would it be eaisier if I raise up my bike seat a little krub

Fisrt of all you should be setting length between your leg and bike seat position. When you sitting on bike seat, when your leg was stretch until straight. Your the
sole (ฝ่าเท้า) should be on horizontal position with ground floor.
ลองดูนะครับ กระแตพิมพ์ไปงั้น ฝึกภาษาหน่อย จารู้มะเนี่ย อุๆๆๆๆ

Search the Net under the keywords "bike set up". There are abumdant of information on that issue.
One tip; After you have set up your seat post to that recommended level, lower it a bit. Bear in mind that you are riding in a traffic. Pushing a little harder uphill will not kill you, but if you cannot mount and dismount properly at the traffic light, you may get killed.
Best wishes

It's a good idea and also good for your knee to raise your seat a little bit higher to straight your leg.
On the right position of riding, you can't stand on your bike when it isn't moving.
You have to stand over its top tube.
Don't worry about that.
After 2-3 times of jumping down from its seat when stop, you will do it smoothly with natural acting.
It's a piece of cake, Man !
