TIME MANAGEMENT:
Prior any training you must well organize your time management especially sould you have a daily job. As for me being a Hotel General Manager usually means working an average of 70 hours per week, which does not leaves much room for long training hours required for Triathlon, then you have family and kids as well! Personal time management skills are essential for an effective life and being able to achieve your Triathlon’s goals without disrupting your life as such. How to do it? Well of course this depends on your performance goals, your current lifestyle and social situation…etc. The only effective way for myself is to train daily early morning, waking up at 05:00 a.m. and pushing my training sessions up to 07:30 a.m., then go to work. Yes it is tough but your body will get used to it sooner than you think! I usually do my long bike session (100 km. on average) on Sunday morning from 06:00 a.m. till 09:00 or 10:00 a.m., which leaves me all day to be with family and friends!
