Just finished restoring my 1986 SM700. I bought all new NOS 80's Suntour XC components. Decals from Vintage Cannondale. Waterford Cycles (formerly Paramount Design Group a Schwinn Comapny) did the awesome paint work. The only modern parts are the Brave Machine rims, Moto Digger tires and Azonic DH bars with Brave Machine grips. I kept the old Brooks saddle on it that I had put on it back in '86. I just love these rigid 24/26 Cannondales. I've had many new mountain bikes and kept going back to ride this one the most. now its too nice to ride.
