Here are the summaries about the competition "Bomb Parading Ride 2012" I made for competitors who can't read Thai. They covered some major details but not all.

Schedules:

Saturday October 19, 2013

- 10.00 AM - 6.00 PM: Applications, Registrations, numbers and jerseys received at the Registration tent, in Phrae Chamber of Commerce Fair 56 area, just near Phrae City Hall.

Sunday October 20, 2013

- 6.00 AM - 7.30 AM: Registrations, numbers and jerseys received for on-line applicants at the Registration tent. (No applications accepted in the competition day morning. This is for managing the schedule to be on time.)
- 7.45 AM - 8.00 AM: Opening ceremony of "Bomb Parading Ride 2012"
- 8.00 AM: Competitors start rolling pass the town to the real starting point on Phayapol Road. There, competitors will start in order of each age groups and types. Staring from Road bikes, Mountain Bikes, Over the Limit group, and lastly V.I.P. group.
- 10.00 AM - 2.00 PM: Competitors entering the finish line. Awarding ceremony will be held for each group after all the best 5 of each group enter the finish line.

Types of Competitions:

Competitions for the Top 5 (Age Group)

Road Bike
- Open age group (male)
- 18 year-old and under (male)
- 30-39 year-old (male)
- 40-49 year-old (male)
- 50 and over age group (male)
- 18 year-old and under (female)
- open age group (female)
- 35 and over age group (female)

Mountain Bike (on-road)
- Open age group (male)
- 18 year-old and under (male)
- 30-39 year-old (male)
- 40-49 year-old (male)
- 50 and over age group (male)
- 18 year-old and under (female)
- open age group (female)
- 40 and over age group (female)

Over the Limit
No restrictions on bicycle, any type of bicycles allowed. Competitors entering finish line within 5 hours (from the real starting point) will receive special trophies for conquering the route.

V.I.P. (20 K.M.)
No restrictions on bicycle, any type of bicycles allowed. Competitors entering finish line within 2.30 hours (from the real starting point) will receive V.I.P. trophies.

Application Fee
For the Top 5 Competitions
- 500 Baht for each applicant.
- Each applicant will receive a bike jersey. (Bike jerseys are limited to only the first 150 applicants only)
- Each applicant will receive a lunch coupon.

For the Over the Limit Competition
- 500 Baht for each applicant.
- Each applicant will receive a T-Shirt.
- Each applicant will receive a lunch coupon.
- Each applicant will receive an Over the Limit trophy when they conquer the route within 5 hours from the real starting point.
- Applicant number 301 and over will receive their T-shirts and trophies via postal service later.

For the V.I.P. (20 K.M.)
- 1,000 Baht for each applicant.
- Each applicant will receive a T-Shirt.
- Each applicant will receive a lunch coupon.
- Each applicant will receive a V.I.P. trophy when they conquer the route within 2.30 hours from the real starting point.
- Applicant number 301 and over will receive their T-shirts and trophies via postal service later.

Rewards and Trophies
Competitions for the Top 5
- The 1st - 5th place will receive trophies for their rankings.
- Cash rewards for the top 3 of each age group
1st receive 1,000 Baht.
2nd receive 700 Baht.
3rd receive 300 Baht.
4th and 5th receive no cash rewards.

Over the Limit
- Over the Limit trophy if the applicant finishes the route within 5 hours.

V.I.P. (20 K.M.)
- V.I.P. trophy if the applicant finishes the route within 2.30 hours.

Rules and Regulations
For Road Bike Competitions for the Top 5
1. General rules of this competitions follow the rules of UCI and Thai Cycling Association.
2. Competitors can only use road bikes only. Any types of aerobars are forbidden.
3. Competitors must equip safety helmets through the competitions.
4. Service cars are allowed behind competitors only. They are no allowed between or in front of a group of competitors.
5. Any competitors that are behind the leader of their own group for more than 2 hours will be retired from the competitions and collected by staff for their own safeties.
6. Any injuries to the competitors and damages to their bicycles will not be in any responsible of the staff of this competitions.
7. Competitors must equip their numbers on their bodies and bicycles.
8. Along the competitions route, there will be staff for competitors' safeties.
9. The winning competitors of each age group must present a valid evidence to the staff of the competitors i.e. citizen card, passports, etc.
10. Each age group classified by the present year minus the birth year of the competitors.
11. Competitors at the age of 18 and under must have their guardian's signature approving in the application form.
12. Any rejections made to the staff must be made by paper within 30 minutes after declaration and there must be 1,000 Baht of bail that will be returned after the rejection is proved to be valid.
13. The judgements of the staff are absolute.
14. This competitions require the use of public roads, competitors must strictly obey traffic rules.

For Mountain Bike (On-Road) Competitions for the Top 5
1. General rules of this competitions follow the rules of UCI and Thai Cycling Association.
2. Service cars are allowed behind competitors only. They are no allowed between or in front of a group of competitors.
3. Any competitors that are behind the leader of their own group for more than 2 hours will be retired from the competitions and collected by staff for their own safeties.
4. Competitors can only use mountain bikes only.
5. Handle bars used on competitors' bikes must be those for mountain bikes only.
6. Wheel size must be 26" and greater.
7. Any type of mountain bike tires is allowed, the tires must be 1.5" and greater wide.
8. Crank sets used must be those for mountain bikes only and must not have more than 48 t. Any type of cassettes are allowed.
9. Any types of aerobars are forbidden.
10. Any type of front suspensions are allowed. Front suspensions with any lenght of recound are valid. Forks without any suspension are not allowed.
11. Competitors must equip safety helmets through the competitions.
12. Any injuries to the competitors and damages to their bicycles will not be in any responsible of the staff of this competitions.
