FRIENDS:
Over the last to 8 weeks, we have raised 1.6 MILLION BAHT for people affected by the floods in Thailand.
The crisis is far from over. As communities across Thailand start to dry out, the need to restore schools, hospitals, and farms is tremendous. But donations and volunteers are dwindling.
This Sunday, DECEMBER 18, we will come together for a final Wipe the Tide -- and with your help, we will raise 1 MILLION BAHT IN ONE DAY.
To do this, we need help from YOU and EVERYONE YOU KNOW IN BANGKOK!
Bring new friends, veteran Wipers, family, friends, the guy who sells fruit on your corner -- EVERYONE! If you've joined us before, you know that this is an amazing community of dynamic people coming together to do some good for the country we love. If you're new to Wipe the Tide -- welcome!
THE SCHEDULE on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 18:
- 11am: Meet in front of the main entrance of Central World. We'll take care of registration, team building, equipment, briefing, and getting our T-shirts and signs ready to Wipe.
- 12pm: Groups of 15 will go with their team leaders from BTS Siam to their designated Wipe locations all over Bangkok (including Thonburi and JJ Market).
- 5pm: Teams start returning to Central World via BTS and taxi to count the donations raised.
- 6:45pm: Two representatives from each team will go to Bangkok Bank branch in Siam Paragon to deposit the MILLION BAHT that we will raise.
WHAT TO BRING:
Wear a white t-shirt, prepare nice donation boxes, bring a bucket, a squeegee, and/or a poster. And of course, bring your friends who do the same.
