สรุปผลการแข่งขัน

การแข่งขันจักรยานทางไกลนานาชาติ “ทัวร์ ออฟไทยแลนด์ 2008 “ ระหว่างวันที่ 1-6 ก.ย. 51 เส้นทาง เชียงราย-พะเยา-ลำปาง ระยะทาง 943.10 กม. และเมือวันที่6 ก.ย.ที่ผ่านมา เป็นการแข่งขันในสเตจที่ 6 ซึ่งเป็นสเตจสุดท้ายของการแข่งขัน โดยยึดเอาเส้นทางรอบตัวจังหวัดลำปาง เป็นสังเวียนดวลความเร็ว โดยจะแข่งเป็นเซอร์กิต รอบละ 18.5 กม. จำนวน 8 รอบ โดยในช่วงเช้าจะมีกิจกรรมปั่นจักรยานเพื่อสุขภาพ ที่สมาคมจักรยานแห่งประเทศไทยฯ ร่วมกับ กองทุนสนับสนุนการสร้างเสริมสุขภาพ (สสส) และ จ.ลำปาง ตามโครงการจากวันแม่ถึงวันพ่อ 116 วัน สามัคคี ที่สวนเขลางนคร และในจังหวัดนี้มีประชาชนเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมปั่นตจักรยานเพื่อสุขภาพมากถึง 2500 คน และเมื่อเสร็จกิจกรรมปั่นจักรยานเพื่อสุขภาพการแข่งขันก็เริ่มขึ้น ซึ่งการแข่งขันในสเตจสุดท้าย( 6 ก.ย.) ถือเป็นการเล่นแบบสบายๆ เพราะเส้นทางเป็นทางเรียบ เหล่านักปั่นจึงเกาะกลุ่มกันไว้อย่างเหนียว

โดยเฉพาะทีมผู้นำอย่าง ไจแอนเอเชีย พยามยามประคองให้ อเล็กซ์ ครูส ที่มีผู้นำเวลารวม 5สเตจ รักษาตำแหน่งผู้นำเอาไว้ ฉะนั้นหากมีใครที่คิดจะหนีออกจากกลุ่มใหญ่ นักปั่นจากทีมไจแอนเอเชีย จึงบล๊อกไว้สุดฤทธิ์ แต่นักปั่นจากทีมต่างๆอย่างคูต้า และอิหร่านไม่ละความพยายามจะหนีออกจากกลุ่มใหญ่ จึงตั้งความเร็วเพื่อสร้างความเร็วให้กับเกมการแข่งขันตลอดเวลา และเมื่อผ่านการแข่งขันรอบแรก แวน บอนลาโอนักปั่นจาก”ฮอลแลนด์”สังกัดทีมมาร์โคโปโล,คมสัน การบัญชี จากทีมราชนาวี และ วอง คิม ตัน จากมาเลเซีย จากทีมไซเคิลว๊อก สามารถตั้งทีมหนีออกจากกลุ่มใหญ่ได้สำเร็จ โดยที่กลุ่มใหญ่ไม่คิดจะไล่ เนื่องจากทั้ง 3 ไม่มีผลต่อเวลารวม จึงปล่อยให้หนีออกไป แต่กลุ่มใหญ่ก็คุมระยะไม่ให้ห่างมากจนเกินไป

ผ่านไป 4 รอบทั้ง3 ยังเป็นผู้นำและการขับเคี่ยวก็ยังมีให้ลุ้นอยู่ตลอดเวลาและเมื่อเข้าสู่รอบ ที่ 7 นักปั่นกลุ่มใหญ่ตั้งทีมขึ้นไปไล่ให้ทัน 3 คนแรกเพื่อสปริ้นแย่งแชมป์ประจำวันในสเตจสุดท้าย และผลการสปริ้นปรากฏว่า แวน บอนลาโอ เบียดเพื่อนร่วมทีมคว้าแชมป์ประจำวันไปครองด้วยเวลา 3.31.37 ชม.

ส่วนแชมป์ในการแข่งขันครั้งนี้ตกเป็นของ อเล็กซ์ ครูส นักปั่นจากประเทศเยอรมนี สังกัดทีมไจแอนเอเชีย ด้วยเวลา 23.08.33 ชม. ครองถ้วยพระราชทานสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี ที่ 2 เป็นของ อิริค ฮอฟแมน ( ไจแอนเอเชีย ประเทศ เนเธอแลนด์) 23.09.19 ชม. 3 บีโจน พาเพสเตน ( คูต้าเชงเกล ประเทศเยอรมนี) 23.09.21ชม.

ในขณะที่ “เจ้าป๋อม” ธุรกิจ บุญรัตนธนากร นักปั่นทีมชาติไทยที่ทำเวลารวมรั้งที่7 และเป็นผู้นำเวลารวมอาเซียน ยังรักษาตำแหน่งไว้ได้อย่างเหนียวแน่น สเตจสุดท้ายปั่นเข้าป้ายมาเป็นอันดับที่ 37 เวลาเท่ากับที่ 1 ส่งผลให้ ธุรกิจ ทำอันดับดีที่สุดของนักกีฬาไทยคือมีเวลาเป็นทึ 7 ด้วยเวลา 23.13.01 ชม. พร้อมทั้งคว้าแชมป์อาเซียนมาครองได้สำเร็จที่2 ตกเป็นของโอกาส บัวลอย ( สินกิจไพบูลย์) 23.13.46 ชม.3. โรล ซี เกง(มาเลเซีย) 23.16.19 ชม.

ส่วนผลการแข่งขันในประเภทต่างๆ มีดังนี้ นักปั่นทำคะแนนสูงสุด
1.ฮอนเนส เรเกลอิ ( ทาบิสฯ อิหร่าน) 72 คะแนน
2. อิริค ฮอฟแมน(ไจแอนเอเชีย) 52คะแนน
3. สเตฟาน เกสเนอร์ (คูต้า ) 49 คะแนน

2.โอกาส บัวลอย (สินกิจไพบูลย์) 8 คะแนน

So how does a parent teach their children, what the school does not? How do you teach accounting to a child? Won't they get bored? And how do you teach investing when as a parent you yourself are risk averse? Instead of teaching my children to simply play it safe, I decided it was best to teach them to play it smart.
"So how would you teach a child about money and all the things we've talked about?" I asked Robert. "How can we make it easy for parents especially when they don't understand it themselves?"
"I wrote a book on the subject, " he said.
"Where is it?"
"In my computer. It's been there for years in random pieces. I add to it occasionally but I've never gotten around to put it all together. I began writing it after my other book became a best seller, but I never finished the new one. It's in pieces."
And in pieces it was. After reading the scattered sections, I decided the book had merit and needed to be shared, especially in these changing times. We agreed to co-author Robert's book.
I asked him how much financial information he thought a child needed. He said it would depend on the child. He knew at a young age that he wanted to be rich and was fortunate enough to have a father figure who was rich and willing to guide him. Education is the foundation of success, Robert said. Just as scholastic skills are vitally important, so are financial skills and communication skills.
What follows is the story of Robert's two dads, a rich one and a poor
one, that expounds on the skills he's developed over a lifetime. The contrast between two dads provides an important perspective. The book is supported, edited and assembled by me. For any accountants who read this book, suspend your academic book knowledge and open your mind to the theories Robert presents. Although many of them challenge the very fundamentals of generally accepted accounting principles, they provide a valuable insight into the way true investors analyze their investment decisions.
"And you don't?" I asked.
"No, not really," said rich dad. "If you want to learn to work for money, then stay in school. That is a great place to learn to do that. But if you want to learn how to have money work for you, then I will teach you that wow power leveling. But only if you want to learn."

When we as parents advise our children to "go to school, study hard and get a good job," we often do that out of cultural habit. It has always been the right thing to do. When I met Robert, his ideas initially startled me. Having been raised by two fathers, he had been taught to strive for two different goals. His educated dad advised him to work for a corporation. His rich dad advised him to own the corporation. Both life paths required education, but the subjects of study were completely different. His educated dad encouraged Robert to be a smart person. His rich dad encouraged Robert to know how to hire smart people.
