เห็นรูปแล้วหลายคันมีหลักอาน gravity เมืองไทยแทบไม่ค่อยมีใครใส่ หรือไม่มีเลยก็ว่าได้ .... ผมว่ามันเป็น หลักอานที่มีประโยชน์มากครับ ทำไมไม่รู้เมืองไทยไม่นิยมกันซักที กลุ่มผมมี 6 คันใส่กันทุกคัน เป็นอะไรที่ซื้อมาแล้ว คุ้มราคามากที่สุด เหมือนมีรถ 2 คันในคันเดียว

หลักอาน Gravity มันทำงานยังไงครับ ไม่เคยเห็น มันไว้ใส่รถ downhill อย่างเดียว?

Gravity Dropper or Maverick Speedball/ Crank bro Joplins does help a lot navigating the rougher terrains. I can drop 3-4 inches which allow me to move my body around and lower center of gravity as well. It's the best investment if you ride the trail that allow you to do it.

From what I see, one of the reason it's not popular in Thailand because the trails are not as rough. I only see people riding on the street which is not what Mountain bike is intended for.




As you can see there's a ledge about 2' at the corner and it require me to move my body weight as I approach the top this is done easier with the seat down and then I can raise it up for max pedaling efficiency.

The is the Maverick ML8 in action.


Trying to ride down this thing with your seat all the way up would not be fun. It's loose, steep and to the right is cliff so you can get seriously hurt.

Gravity Dropper or Maverick Speedball เนี่ย...เวลาปรับระดับสูงสุด (ยืดสุด) แล้ว มันมีอาการ "ยวบๆ" เหมือนพวกหลักอานโช๊ค รึปล่าว แล้วถ้าเทียบกับ Crank Brothers Joplin R Seatpost ละครับ

ถ้ามันสามารถลอกได้แข็งโป๊ก ต่อให้กระแทกอย่างไรก็ไม่ยุบตัวละก็ อารมเดียวกันกับพวกหลักอานปรกติละก็.....สงใสผมจะเสียตัง 555

Hi
The Maverick Speed ball and Crank Bros Joplin are the same with the exception of the color. Maverick sold the license to Crank Bros. These are hydraulic post and it does not compress like the suspension seat post. The gravity dropper however is the simple switch only preset distance 3" or 4" depending on the models. I've use both an I prefer the Maverick.

Here's my newly built Intense 5.5 EVP I just put it together Saturday, took it for a ride on Sunday and it was SWEET!!!!

Hi Pom,
They both will be about $250 however, you can't get the Maverick any more you have to get Crank Bros Joplins. The Joplin is limited to 30.9 or 31.6 in diameter only not until they release the 27.2 version then you can fitted to any bike. The Gravity dropper is available only as the 27.2 but you can shim it.

I'd order through their website(Gravity dropper) you'd have the choice of getting it custom 4"/2" and all the way down etc. They should ship it to Thailand no problem. This way you'd get the warranty. Buying through eBay does not give you warranty.

There're other posts too like KS 900 up to 5" drop , or Rise from 6"-9" but this one is almost $400 and it's not quiet either.
