…พี่ไก่ กับลุงเถร ลุงเถรเป็นศิลปินทางดนตรี เคยเปิดร้านอยู่ย่านถนนพระปิ่นเกล้า ทั้งเล่นเองร้องเอง สไตล์เพลงสากลแบบคันทรี่ แต่ระยะหลังสู้ค่าเช่าตึกไม่ไหวเลยเลิกมาปั่นจักรยาน แต่ก็ยังไปเล่นร้องอยู่แถว ๆ พุทธมณฑลสายสอง เจอกับผมคราใด เราต้องประสานเสียง เพลง นอร์ททูอลาสก้า ของจอห์นนี่ฮอร์ตั้น กันลั่นถนน ครั้งนี้ก็เช่นกัน ผมปั่นมาเจอกับลุงเถรก่อนถึงสะงามรีสอร์ทเราก็ประสานเสียงกัน นอกจากเพลงนี้แล้ว ผมทดลองเพลงอื่นบ้างเอาเพลงที่เราจำเนื้อร้องไม่ได้เพราะว่ามันยาว ผมนึกถึงเพลงของจอห์นนี่ฮอร์ตั้น ชื่อเพลง Sink The Bismarck ผมขึ้นต้นได้นิดเดียว คือ In May of 1941 the war had just begun The Germans had the biggest ship that had the biggest guns

…ผมเตรียม เอ็น เบ็ดกุ้ง ซึ่งคดไว้นานแล้ว ที่ดูเหมือนสามเหลี่ยมเป็นเบ็ดกุ้งสไตล์แปดริ้ว รุ่นน้องให้มาบอกว่า สมัยหนุ่ม ๆ ใช้เบ็ดแบบนี้ตกกุ้งซื้อมอเตอร์ไซค์มาแล้ว แบบนี้ดีตกได้แล้วกุ้งไม่ตาย แต่ถ้าเป็นแบบกระโหลก หรือขากุ้ง คมเบ็ดจะเข้าถึงสมองกุ้ง เก็บได้ไม่นานก็ตาย
…ผมเดินหาคันเบ็ด ได้กิ่งไม้เก่า ๆ มาอันหนึ่ง จัดการผูกเอ็น ผูกเบ็ด เกี่ยวเหยื่อ โยนลงคลองไปแล้วนั่งร้องเพลง พรานเบ็ด “ ฉันนั่งตกกุ้งอยู่ริมตลิ่ง แปลกใจฉันจริงกุ้งไม่กินเหยื่อ นั่งตกอยู่นานจนฉันล่ะเบื่อ กุ้งไม่กินเหยื่อน่าแปลกใจ

…ผมนั่งตกกุ้ง จนเพื่อน ๆ จะปั่นไปเที่ยวกันแล้วเลยเลิกตก ทิ้งเบ็ดไว้อย่างนั้น ไปปั่นจักรยานกันดีกว่า ผู้พันอ๊อดจะพาไปเที่ยววัดบางแคน้อย ที่มีโบสถ์พื้นทำด้วยไม้ตะเคียนแผ่นใหญ่ 7 แผ่น ผนังมีไม้สักแกะสลักเรื่องราวพุทธประวัติพระเจ้าทศชาติ เรื่องเกี่ยวกับรามเกียรติ์ก็มี หลังจากนั้นพาไปเที่ยวสะพานขึงข้ามคลองแควอ้อม แล้วต่อไปวัดบางกุ้ง แต่ผมขอตัวแยกไปที่วัดบางกุ้งก่อนเพื่อจะได้มีเวลา ตามรอยประวัติศาสตร์สมเด็จพระเจ้าตากสินมหาราชที่ค่ายบางกุ้ง
...วัดบางแคน้อย ผมไม่ได้ไปแต่มีรูปเคยถ่ายไว้ พื้นไม้ตะเคียนแผ่นใหญ่
